Seriously- why the hell would I be okay with you reblogging my photo, taking my caption off and replacing it with something like “pussy in the hood”?!
I appreciate all of you who support and enjoy my photography but there are some of you who have access to the internet and don’t have proper home training. I am not okay with people using my photographs to advertise their weak rap mixtape (seriously, you could at least TRY to be a halfway decent wannabe lyricist) or your sleazy blogs.
Stop it goddammit!
girlaboutsong asked: Love the photos. It is very raw and artistic. I love the fact nudity doesn't have to be raunchy!
Thank you! ^_^
ofjoy asked: What scanner do you use to scan your negatives (both 35mm and MF)?
Much of my older photos were scanned with the Epson V500. My newer photos are scanned with the Epson V700 (Thanks Rolf!)
Both scanners facilitate 35mm & medium format but the V700 has more than doubled my workflow
marianophotography asked: As an inspiring photographer myself where u get ur ideas for shots from? Do u develop your own film and how do u pull off these nude shots in public places?
A lot of my ideas are actually accidents. I’ll come up with an idea in the middle of a shoot and well, I’ll just shoot it. Others are inspired by famous photographers who’ve paved the way for artists like myself.
I do develop my own black and white film at home. I’m actually very touchy about my film. NO ONE touches my negatives but me. Color is a bit of a different story as the chemicals can be a bit hazardous to use at home and with a three year old around, I’d like to keep accidents to a minimum. I work in a camera store so C-41 process is done there.
As for the nude photographs in public… Ancient Chinese secret lol.
Honestly, it takes A LOT of planning, a reliable team, and a very patient model as a lot of the nudes I’ve made in public took up to 15 minutes to make. That’s 15min for me to click the shutter button ONE time.
easywer asked: Great work! Next time you come to Florence, gimme a shout! ;)
Florence… Like Italy? Or like South Carolina?
I actually grew up (part time, anyway) in a town not too far from Florence, S.C. >.<
…I bet Italy is much nicer lol.
Anyway, Thanks! Glad you like my work!
